Human sex trafficking in the U.S. is an epidemic. My daughter has designed this shirt with great passion to help fight the trafficking in our country. By her request, a portion of the sales will be donated to Thorn to help the fight sex trafficking. Thorn has technology to defend children from sexual abuse.
The story behind the design: The rainbow and phrase “somewhere over the rainbow” envisions a world where sex trafficking doesn’t exist. And just as passionate as we are about sex trafficking, we feel it equally important to end the death of unborn babies— hence the end abortion. The + signs in the rainbow represent positive pregnancies that were ended. The rainbow, although neutral, is actually skin colors. The lyrics to “Jesus loves me” is written in the rainbow because every child matters— red, brown, yellow, black and white. The word “freedom” on the sleeve represents the victims that are saved. And lastly, a blue ribbon that symbolizes human trafficking awareness.
